June 2009 Hradec Kralove, CZECH REPUBLIC

Last week, the representatives of NAMM, International Music Products Association, visited the Petrof Piano Company in the Czech Republic. Petrof was pleased to welcome President Joe Lamond along with the director of international affairs Ms. Betty Heywood to the factory in Hradec Kralove. Petrof was the only piano manufacturer visited by the NAMM representatives during their European trip.

During the one-day visit in the Petrof factory, President Lamond and Director Heywood visited Petrof’s showroom, production line and the R&D department. Petrof’s President and CEO, Zuzana Ceralova Petrofova, was very pleased to share with the NAMM representatives Petrof’s current activities: "It was a real pleasure to welcome President Lamond and Director Heywood to our facility. NAMM is a highly respected organization and is involved in many great projects in the USA and worldwide. We discussed many things; many useful ideas came up during our meeting. I appreciate all their efforts very much and believe we will cooperate together even more in the future”.

President Joe Lamond welcomed this idea as well saying: "The NAMM slogan is "believe in music" so I am glad that at Petrof we found real music people. We were listening to the recordings of Petrof pianos made by recording engineer Mark Levinson and it was a great experience. I wish Petrof all the best with this project and look forward to seeing one of the demonstrations in real-time."
