Since 2007, all Petrof instruments have carried the European Excellence Musical Instruments (EEX) seal. The certification is provided to products which are of European origin and meet strict criteria covering a long-term investment in production techniques, lifetime guarantees, minimal service costs, environmentally-friendly production, a production process under EU legislation supervision and protection against forgery.
The sign of an EEX product is a special holographic label that cannot be removed without its destruction and cannot be used for any other instrument. The label contains a secret safety design and is impossible to falsify.
The Petrof company also has a certificate of “Environmental Management Systems” according to standard ISO 14001:1997 and a certificate of “Systems of Quality Assurance” according to standard ISO 9001:2001. The certificating body is accredited agency ITI TÜV and TÜV CZ. The efficiency and suitability of this management system is audited every year by an external audit company.
